I'm uploading a wav file, 44100 HZ, 16 bit stereo, less than twenty seconds. it errors onme. I tried to upload an mp3, and got static. So I was forced to upload an audio profile that basically says that I've got issues. Someone look into this?

I've never really understood this problem Nick. Take my own audio profile for example. when I try to listen to it I get that nasty static noise as you apparently do. However somebody else could listen to it just fine! I've got plenty of reviews for it so I know that at least some other people are hearing it, however I've never been able to listen to my own audio profile from either my own computer in England or Shea's one in Illinois!

It's bizarre but there you have it.

Dan.

yeh I sometimes get that when uploading wav or mp3 no matter how many times I try and upload it so just have to eventually do a different one! weird!

I tried my .wav and it was a fine length I think, but it just wouldn't go. Kept getting errors.

The trouble with uploading .wav files as I found out to my cost is that more often than not the page times out on you before it has fully uploaded so fails. I'm not sure if that holds true for the 20 second standard member's audio profile but definitely a 2 minute long wave file is pretty big.

If at all possible always go with mp3's. You'll save yourself a lot of time and trouble.

Apologies to Nick for this being slightly off topic but I thought the point relevant enough.

Thanks. Dan.
